I have always been fascinated with these little orbs we call marbles. But who isn’t, it seems that everyone loves a marble and everyone has a marble story!
I had played with glass and my Dad’s propane torch as a kid and always found it amazing mixing fire and glass. Forward many years and eBay brought my attention to handmade marbles, my memories and interest were re-kindled and I couldn’t wait to get a flame and some glass to make my own marbles. After many weeks of research and acquiring some basic tools and glass, I applied self taught techniques to making marbles.

THE MADNESS TO MY
METHOD
Creating marbles by experimenting with new colors and techniques is never ending. These are the same techniques practiced by glass artisans in Italy during the 14th Century.
Each marble is made in front of a torch, also known as lampworking or flameworking. Marbles are shaped by hand with various tools and kiln annealed for strength. Once finished, marbles are hand signed with a titanium pen very discreetly to preserve the beauty of each creation.
After your purchase, your new Winlock Marble will be carefully handled and packed with protective packaging and dispatched using 1st Class Postage.
